These loadouts are based off the Tech Sheet. If you are not in the tech sheet, I used my best judgment to assign modules it looks like, or I would assume, you have unlocked.
Please keep the tech sheet updated.
If your shield is specified as passive, but you have omega unlocked, please equip omega instead.

As this is everyone's first White Star, please read through #ws-guides.
If you have any questions about how White Stars work, or how to use the Time Machine, please let me know.

Also, please let me know any ideas, thoughts, questions, etc. you have throughout the White Star. This is strongly encouraged.
We'll cover more stuff when the White Star starts, but initially, I'll be watching most things, so please don't schedule any moves without checking in with me first. We'll cover this more during the White Star as well, as I will be asleep/unavailable at times.

Please note. **No Sanctuary.** Please equip the above modules, and do not equip sanctuary. We do not believe in sanctuary as it does not benefit the corps chance at winning a White Star. Our opponent will most likely use many sanctuaries, so this will give us an advantage. As this is everyone's first White Star, lost ships may be compensated for at the end of the star.

I haven't lead a White Star like this in a long time, and it'll be everyone's first White Star, so it'll be a learning experience all around!
Best of luck @WS1!

Battle plan

:

We're facing Space-X this White Star.

Our main planet will be **Endymion.**

Miners will mine out all of E5, F6, and G4.
We may also mine out E5, and F5 depending on how the mineout goes.

Miners will start out in two groups.
Group 1: (F5, G4)
@Nukiry#0829
@Lelden#1569 (time warp boost)
@Ahmet Necip#2502
@Aavoxx Monoan#3722 (time warp boost)

Group 2: (E5)
@DC113#8473
@Andrw#5098
@CreepGaming#8208 (time warp boost)

Subsequent mining sectors will be designated as the Star progresses.

@Aavoxx Monoan#3722 and @jayareiii#7983 will escort mining group 2.
@CreepGaming#8208 and @resourceHog#4651 will escort mining group 1.

@Nukiry#0829 and @Ahmet Necip#2502 will take up positions in D5.

@Andrw#5098 @Lelden#1569 @DC113#8473 @AR81#3936 Will move to clear the cerbs from F3, F4, and G4 before the miners arrive, and then take up positions throughout D5, E4, and F3.

Things of Note:

-Please warp in your ships with the above loadouts.
-If you have omega shield equipped, please activate it one minute prior to warping into the White Star.
-Use time machine to schedule movements as late as possible.
-For example, schedule to depart from the gate 10 mins before prep time is over, and for any subsequent moves schedule your next waypoint 2 mins prior to reaching your previous destination.
-Use as many waypoints as possible without overly decreasing your travel time.
-If order to prevent getting stuck on long waypoints, without being able to adjust if necessary, try to schedule as many waypoints to your destination as possible (only scheduling the next one 2 mins prior to arriving at the previous). A good way to judge this, is to not pass through a sector without having a waypoint in it, unless none are available.

-Also, please do not make moves without checking with me first. If I am asleep (use %time command in #techbot, and I will announce when I am going to bed), I trust your best judgement.

This is everyone's first White Star, and I haven't run a White Star like this in a long while, so if anyone has any question or ideas, etc., please ask/talk with me.
I will try to be available as much as I can. Keep in mind though, in future people from The Hatchery will be leading White Stars, so please ask any questions you have, and observe the star in general.
Best of luck @WS1!

The Hatchery vs Space-X
Victory 11 - 1

The Hatchery vs Space-X
Victory: 11 - 1

We faced Space-X this White Star.
This was the first White Star for The Hatchery.

The opponent didn't have much of a presence this White Star, only warping in 3 pairs of ships.
They also demonstrated a lack of experience with White Stars, by not utilizing Time Machine properly, and projecting their moves. It also appeared that they didn't have a discord server, making coordination much harder for them.

We overextended a bit this White Star, mining out a path with the intention to gather relics from either the lvl 5 or lvl 10 planet. It later became evident that we wouldn't be able to drop off on either planet and return in time to gather any relics. Due to this, we instead dropped off on the lvl 1, and sadly wasted a decent amount on time on travel that could have otherwise been used for mining.
We were able to gather relics from both the lvl 10s however, and got over half of our relics from passively generated relics.

Sadly, mostly due to the opponents small presence in the White Star, we only achieved tier 1, and very few rewards due to that. However, no ships were lost.

————————————————————

Things we can work on include:

Accommodating strategies for a different tech level

Utilizing time machine to plot multiple waypoints without projecting, and to keep shields constantly active.

————————————————————

Overall this White Star went pretty well. Everyone caught on to the idea and format of White Stars pretty well, and provided good ideas and asked good and insightful questions.

(all participants in this White Star have been promoted. As a senior member you can now accept members. This will be useful for corp hopping for red stars, but please do not accept any new people while a White Star is active)
Great job @everyone!

WS ship layout and toons

Time for the ws layout thing. All bs should have omega shields equipped except @CreepGaming . If you don't have omega, passive shield works fine too. For miners, equip mining boost and remote mining.
Group 1:
@Amishman BS: batt, emp, tp miner: tw
@AR81 BS: batt, emp miner: Alpha rocket
@DanielL BS: batt, suppress, barrier, rocket miner: tw
@KraeNium BS: batt, emp miner: tp
@jayareiii BS: batt, tw, tp miner: rocket

Group 2:
@Poni5 BS: batt, tp, emp miner: tp
@Trexies BS: batt, emp, rocket miner: mining unity, tp
@Lelden BS: batt, tw miner: tw

Group 3:
@Positive Mental BS: mass batt, tp miner: tw
@CreepGaming BS: dl, delta shield, tw, tp miner: tw
Group 1 will focus on defending the squishies. Group 2 will stay close and help defend, but will eventually advance to apply pressure on the enemy. Group 3 will be the raiders to destroy the opponent's squishies. @jayareiii and @AR81 , your miners will be on rocket support, so you can just leave them at the warpgate. More info will be out after we get our opponent. If you have any questions, pls ask asap. Tq

Battle plan

:

Battleplan picture

Ok battle plan stuff.
Our opponent this time is TheRoyalKingdom. The macthup seems fair, with both teams having players around the same level with one stronger outlier on each side. We have a Daniel, while our opponent has a Dragoon, so keep that in mind when engaging. Our main planet will be Frithia. But if something goes wrong, our group 2 miners can just deposit their hydro at Mhrisk

Miner Group 1(@Trexies @CreepGaming @DanielL @Lelden @KraeNium):
You will be in charge of mining out B1 and A1 completely. Don't let any asteroids survive >:(. Move to roid69 at B1, then roid90 at A1, and deposit the hydro at Frithia. Then, I'll have some of you take your miners back to bring out your ts to retrive the relics (most probably @Trexies, @DanielL and someone else whom i will decide later). Remember the tw order: @CreepGaming, @Lelden, @DanielL, and continue the cycle as needed while staggering them so that there is always a tw active.

Miner Group 2(@Poni5 @Amishman @Positive Mental ):
We'll solely focus on mining. We'll go to roid71 on D2, roid70 on C2, roid90 on B2 and finally deposit it at Frithia. Same as group 1, mine out ALL the asteroids except maybe B2, depending on the situation. Positive, I'll be activating my tw as soon as we start moving, followed by you when it ends. We'll keep refreshing the tw whenever it recharges.

Rocket Support (@AR81 @jayareiii):
You in charge of boom boom at gate :D. Station your miners with rockets at the warpgate (don't mine). When needed to, you'll fire a rocket, warp out, recharge your rocket, warp back in, and fire another rocket. You might also be required to do this every 2 hours, so keep that in mind. If you're running low on hydro, tell me, i can give you some arts to salvage. PS: roid70 means the asteroid that has 70 hydro.

Now for BS
Group 1:
@jayareiii and @Amishman will follow Group 1 miners. @AR81 and @KraeNium will follow Group 2 Miners. @DanielL, since you're our strongest link, I want you to station yourself at C2 so that you are able to help whichever group that needs it the most, depending on how the enemy moves. You probably have more experience than me, so i trust you to move/activate barrier/suppress whenever you see fit. Eventually, all of Group 1 will be gathered around Frithia to protect it.

Group 2:
@Poni5 @Trexies @Lelden we will be somewhat spread out along that green line in the pic. If needed, we can stop enemy bs's from passing, but when the chance comes, we'll be advancing on the enemy to put pressure on them and help the raiders distract the enemy.

Group 3:
@CreepGaming and @Positive Mental , you'll be in charge of raiding and killing the opponents' squishies. @CreepGaming activate tw whenever you can. Also keep in mind that you're running delta shield, so although you get a slight speed boost, you'll be much more vulnerable than most ships. Positive, you have a somewhat higher level tp and mass batt, so try to tp behind the enemy bs and take out the squishies if you can. Remember that you both are not designed for full on head-to-head battles, so get away when things seem dangerous and let Group 2 support you.

Alright, that's it for now. I'll inform all of you if there are any changes to the plan. If you have any questions, pls ask the ws2 general discussion group immediately. Now go forth and battle, my mutiny mates uh, corp mates!

Battle Summary

:

The Hatchery vs TheRoyalKingdom
Victory 9 - 3

We faced TheRoyalKingdom for this ws
At the start of the match, it was evident that we had the advantage. Both sides' tech levels were around the same aside from DanielL who was protecting our lvl5 planet (that thankfully didn't need much protecting at all). Aside from that, the enemy didn't send their full 10 man team, and most of their ships had sanc equipped, which gave us the edge in combat. Our miners all proceeded according to plan, with the only threats being 2 bs and an interceptor sent our way, but our defence was able to take out those threats without much problem. On the attacking side, most of the action happened at C4 with our raiders and front liners. The enemy was a lil uncoordinated, sending their fortify bs alone, which made it easier for us to take it out. Our raider also managed to take out a few squishies in the process by tping in and moving to the bottom right. In hindsight, we probably could have been a little more aggressive and used Daniel to attack. The lvl10 planet and hydro-rich sector could also be considered, but that would have been riskier as it would be easier for the enemy's raiders to catch our squishies. Considering that their bs had sanc, they could afford to be reckless and just fly in, take out our squishies and die.

Things to improve
Use tm to see all the possible outcomes and play around with the timing to get the best results
Be a little more aggressive with the raiders
Remember to activate mining boost/unity upon arrival at the asteroid
Check tm frequently to check any effects of tw or ship(both enemy and ally) movement that would mess up our timing - and fix them (shield/module activation, ship movement etc).

Overall, I'd say this ws was a huge success. We came out with 0 casualties while killing 6 bs and 3 miners. A huge thank you to everyone who participated in this ws! All of you did great. I look forward to our next battle together @WS2 :D

The Hatchery vs Bien Suprême

WS ship layout and toons

Alright the WS is up. I'm still putting a battle plan together, but for now here are the layouts: @Aavoxx BS Battery Omega Shield EMP, TP Miner Mining Boost, Remote Mining, Mining Unity (If you have it), TP @CreepGaming BS DL, Delta Shield, TW, TP Miner, Mining Boost, Remote Mining, TW @DC Empire BS Battery, Omega Shield (Passive if you don’t have that), EMP Miner, Mining Boost, Remote Mining, TW @KraeNium BS Battery, Omega Shield (Passive if you don’t have that), TW Miner, Mining Boost, Remote Mining, TP @Lelden BS Mass Batt, Omega Shield, TW TP Miner, Mining Boost, Remote Mining, Alpha Rocket. Warp in when you have the chance. Start your Omega Shield Cycles before you jump. Let's do this!

Battle plan

:
Preliminary battleplan. Our objective will be to push forward and pressure the enemy, giving our squishies free reign to mine and collect relics, while disrupting their operations . To start, we will clear out the cerbs in our area and push forward to D5. At that point we will see where the enemy is heading and adjust. KraeNium, head to D7 and take out the two sentinels there and then head up to D5. The rest of us will take out C5 and then move over to D5. Miners will follow the BS’s to C5 and stick together. I’ll use TW first on my BS. KraeNium use TW on your BS once it’s out of range of mine. The miners should follow in the TW of my BS to C5.600, as we should clear that sector quickly and get mining ASAP. Once the BS’s have moved on from the miners, Creep will activate TW on his miner. From there Creep and DC should cycle their miner TW’s so that it is always active. By then we should have a feel of their fleet and movements so as to figure out our next moves. If they are holding far enough back our BSs will move counterclockwise around the star (D5 to E4 to E3) and use that as our forward point. If they push forward or split up we will see where they are headed and decide if we can push into them together or if we need to leave one or two BSs for some protection, while we try to harass where we can.

Battle Summary

:

The Hatchery vs Bien Suprême
Victory 8 - 1

The 5v5 at this tech level was fairly straight forward. It was an easy victory due to the enemy only jumping 3 battleships in, despite having at least 4 squishies jumping in. We cleared out the large hydro field directly above our gate, and it was enough that our miners weren’t going to mine it out. We pushed forward swiftly, due to our superior numbers and due to the fact that they were staying defensive. The goal was to do enough damage to get tier 2 rewards, while also disrupting their mining and relic collecting if possible. The replay is currently broken due to a patch being applied during the white star, so I may forget some of the details. We knew it was potentially hazardous with as close as we got to the enemy gate. There were only three enemy BSs in the whitestar but who knew if two more would pop in? The enemy also had Sanctuary modules on 2 of their BSs which allowed them to play more risky. We lost zero battleships, despite some communication and timing issues and were able to kill all 3 of their BS, securing the Tier 2 rewards. Good use of teleport and emp both saved my battleship once and secured at least one enemy kill. We were able to secure the level 10 planet, but not in time to drop off hydrogen, so we gained only 2 relics from it. Not a huge success, but it was two more relics than we would have had. After destroying their battleships, Creepgaming was able to head in and disrupt their transports and miners, so that they were only able to secure a single relic. He was also able to get out in time, although an EMP missed him somehow that could have put him in more danger. (The EMP happened right before the patch so I never did see how it missed him even the first time.) Due to our attention at the battle in the front, we almost missed our miner/ts timing, but we were able to get going in time to secure all 6 relics we could get at the level 5 and level 1 planets near our gate.
Things to work on: Timezone accommodation during planning. My original plan was to have myself and Creepgaming be raiders, while Aavoxx, KraeNium and DC Empire try to engage their BSs or defend, however our locations made it so we were only on at the same time for a couple hours at a time with large breaks in between. This made raiding planning difficult. I mostly kept my bs back with the other members, and so my mass battery was hardly useful. Miner/TS timing. Our tech level means that we couldn’t mine out even a single rich sector, or fill our miners in time. This means that we have to pay more attention to timing rather than a full miner or a mined out sector. While we pulled it off in the end, making the calculations for timing sooner would make it less of a headache and ensure people don’t have to wake up at 2AM to switch out a miner for a TS to get the relics in time. Overall it was a success, and the Hatchery only needs 2 more relics to hit being a level three Corporation. I doubt we could have secured more at our tech level. It was fun to play forward and risky once we realized we had the number advantage. Everyone had things to add, and did well with the time machine, plotting some good emps and maneuvers to keep us safe and kill the enemy ships. @WS1 - H

Battle plan

:
Plan stuff
We're facing Chinese Words this round(TUSFO 星舰第二联邦). Our enemy seems to be a lil stronger than us, so i might come up with a more aggressive/riskier strategy later, depending on how it goes. Anyway, ALL miners will immediately move to E6.108 (E6, roid with 108 hydro left). After E6 is cleared, move to F5 to mine the rich field. The exceptions are @KraeNium and @DC Empire who are on rocket support, and @DanielL
@DanielL your miner will crunch D7, deposit at Canillo and immediately return to gate to warp in a ts with tw

Now for BS.
Defenders ( @DanielL @DC Empire @Amishman @resourceHog) you guys will be escorting the miners and clear out F5. @CreepGaming will follow the defenders and help clear out f5 with his dl before returning to the other frontliners.
Frontliners ( @Lelden @KraeNium @Infinity Master ) you guys will position yourselves at D5 E4 F3. We'll see how the ws goes before engaging
Raiders ( @Poni5 @Aavoxx ) we'll move to D5 and see where their squishies go. That's it for now. Our enemy this time around seems to be tougher than our previous opponents, so buckle up my buckeroos, be on your guard, and have fun!

Battle Summary

:

The Hatchery vs TUSFO 星舰第二联邦
Victory 17 - 13

We faced TUSFO星舰第二联邦 (as seen in the title)
This is The Hatchery's first match where the opponent actually sent their full 10 man team (but just 9 squishies). The opponent also had slightly higher tech levels.
I decided to be a little more defensive for this match, as it was risky to engage the enemy with their higher tech levels. Only our raiders (and Lelden who advanced a little) actually tried to attack the enemy. Aavoxx sadly lost his ship - but not before taking siaomao with him. Meanwhile, the other dashingly handsome and strategically big brained raider managed to keep the enemy's ships busy and running around, albeit being too incompetent to even get a squishy.
The miners and transports all moved according to plan, with only a few weak attacks by the enemy's sanced ships that were taken care of by our defences.
In hindsight, while the enemy's bs's were distracted by me, we could have been a little more aggressive and pushed forward. Then again, it would be harder to protect Daniel's ts and the group of miners at our lvl5 planet.

Things to Improve
I'm thinking of sending raiders from both sides. Our opponent's squishies will be forced to retreat instead of advancing to the other side.
Also thinking of sending raiders with sanc to raid more recklessly
Maybe raiders should also be chosen based on availability to react to any sudden moves by the opponent
Have 2 rocket supports in different time zones so rockets are available 24/5
Activate mining boost when arriving at roid

Sry for just talking so much about raiders, it's just that i spent half the ws thinking about raiding sooo yea :))
All in all, good job @WS1 - H! This ws was pretty stressful, but i still had fun, and i hope you guys did too. Sry for the orders spam, i just like micromanaging every single detail if possible (i already tried to restrain myself. tried) Here's to more ws's in the future and our 100% win streak! :D
